back from ShangHai:D
I know you guys missed me(:
I think I'll miss ShangHai's weather the most :P it's really cooling there, the temperature in the day is like 10degrees below Singapore's daily average temperature ._. at night, it's even better:D
well well, through the trip, I've made new friends!! Yi Chong, Michelle, Yanee, Fiona, Tian Yi, Keith.. and I got to know people better too(:
there were different groupings, like the
'expo group'- Qin Ze, Amelia, Bern
'meal-time group'- Amelia, Bern, Qin Ze, Ting Peng, Shao Fen, Fenella, Jie Min, Wee Chin, Fiona, Yan Ting
'slacking after the day group'- Amelia, Bern, Yi Tian, Yi Chong, Yen Sheng, Michelle, Yanee

3/6/10-4/6/10
slept only 3hours + on the plane, and got neck cramp T.T sat in between Amelia and Bern. and my hair was floating everywhere and sticking to my face cos of static. UGH. went to the expo first. The expo was huge, and there were so many people. WOW. hahas. so there were many china people cutting queue-.- first day the 4 of us were noobs, people kept cutting our queue and we did nothing about it -.- 2nd day, we were smarter and formed a 'human barrier'. Amelia, Bern and I linked arms while Qin Ze stood at the side. then the 2 people at the side would hold the railings so nobody could cut our queue. HAHA:D the queues were really long, so we had to queue around 1hr + for each 'popular' pavillion we went to. by killing time, we ate and shared tidbits, and sang songs (Qin Ze did not join in xD) and when I say sing songs, we were singing songs like Elmo's World, When you're happy and you know it ... , The wheels of the bus.. LALA:D
it was fun, really. At the end of the first day, we were all too tired to walk and started slacking at some green pasture (it was actually Netherlands Pavillion but we did not know LOL) we sat there and played stress.. Amelia won all of us, WOW, hidden talent >< then Qin Ze suggested that he took a card and we had to guess the correct number. He said that whoever could guess it correctly he would give the person S$10. and Bern guessed it correctly!! damn funny xD Then Bern suggested that she would have to guess correctly 3 times. and she did!! not in a row though :P. so Qin Ze owes Bern money hahaha!! then we went for dinner and got back to the hotel and slept immediately after bathing. tired!! :P on the second day while walking to visit pavillions the 4 of us got hungry and we bought hot dogs, only 2 yuan!! which means ~40cents!! O.o haha. while walking, Amelia said' I saw a little girl peeing.' before any one of us could respond, Qin Ze asked' where?' it was like an immediate reaction! the 3 of us kept laughing. oh well, Qin Ze, you finally showed your true colours yeah?? xD at night, Yi Tian, Yi Chong and Yen Sheng came over to our room and we played UNO, nab, and watched tv. they left at about 1am? not sure:P

went to the museum in the morning, grouped with Qin Ze, Amelia and Bern again(: walked around, joked, and took many photos. then we went to NanJing road for shopping. Qin Ze went with Ting Peng, Shao Fen and Fenella cos Amelia said the 3 of us were going to shop for ;girl stuff'. there were mostly department stores there selling branded goods, so we didnt buy anything. we were given 1 hour shopping time and after walking along the street for quite some time, we decided to go to Starbucks to slack. :D Bern and I bought Vanilla cream, while Amelia bought Chip Java. yums(:
then we went for lunch and visited the ShangHai Urban Planning Exhibition Centre after that. took many photos, and spent alot of time at the virtual world. took many photos, refer to fb!! ^^ after spending about an hour plus, we went to the Bund. it was a nice place, like a long bridge or something, with tall buildings for both commerce and tourism. The scenery was magnificent!! and it was really windy(: aftera while, we went for dinner and then back to the hotel. after bath, Yi Tian, Yi Chong, Yen Sheng, Michelle and Yanee came over to our room to watch a ghost movie. LOL! everyone was freaking scared and using pillows to cover themselves LOL!! hahaha. somemore we off-ed all lights when we watched the movie. after the movie, we played UNO. Yi Tian lost. his forfeit- call Shao Fen and say she looks nice in her pajamas ROFL!! damn funny. everyone were laughing xD then they went back to their rooms after a few mor rounds of UNO.

Did I mention that the breakfast was the same throughout all the days?? :P that day Yi Tian, YenSheng and I wore our band tees. Yi Tian wore black (bad choice for a sunny day:P), YenSheng wore red while I wore white. Yi Tian has our pic in his cam. We went to ZhouZhuang water village in the morning. it was a really pretty and kinda ancient place, really nice(: walked around a bit amd then went for lunch there. there were fish tanks outside and I kinda saw a dead fish in it so I didnt dare eat fish for lunch :X after lunch, we went to Yu Yuan Garden (super huge, again). and it was pretty(: after that, we went shopping. shopping time was extended as nobody wanted to go to the temple after that :P haha!! after dinner, we went back to our hotel rooms. the same group of people came to our room again to watch another movie. It was quite boring I guess, cos most of us were already half dead after the movie.. then we played UNO again. Yanee and I haad the most cards after the game, so we were locked up in the toilet in the dark for 5 mins. okay larh I think :X Yi Tian and YenSheng were still creeped out after the ghost movie the day before that LOL!! then another movie came on, a very old Jackie Chan movie. he was still so young then!! I guess this was quite boring too cos Yen Sheng and Yanee were already sleeping. Michelle woke Yanee up and they went back to their rooms. as the movie proceeded, more and more people started to fall asleep. Amelia went over to the other bed to sleep halfway thru, and so did Bern. Yi Chong was half asleep.. while Yi Tian and I were still bright awake. LOL.so when the movie ended (around 1.45am or so) the guys were too lazy to go back to their rooms o.o so they slept in our room. the 3 guys shared a bed, while Amelia and Bern slept on the other and I slept on the couch. Luckily it was a SOFT couch O.o LOL. then lights out!!(:

7/6/10- LAST DAY:(
woke up early in the morning to do some last min packing.then went downstairs to check out. Ate breakfast with the 3 guys and here comes another interesting thing- Yi Tian and Yen Sheng played scissors paper stone. the loser had to drink a glass of orange juice+pineapple juice+soya bean+milk. and Yi Tian lost. he created his own forfeit hahahaha. And I guessed the drink tasted horrible, but it's still funny XD Amelia and I took videos, I shall upload when I have the time :P after breakfast, we took bus to Soong Ching Ling Memorial Residence. her house was humongous. O.o and really nice. we had to wrap plastics around our shoes before we entered her house so we would not dirty her house. the rooms upstairs were all inter-connected. WOW cool. ^^ after taking pictures, we had lunch, Japanese style, and took the Maglev Train to the Pu Dong airport. the train was really fast. it took only 7mins train ride where it could have taken half an hour bus/car ride. it was travelling at 300km/h o.o the flight was kinda delayed so we spent alot of time roaming about, shopping, and watching the 3 guys kill time by throwing up M&Ms and catching them with their mouths xP it was kinda funny, I have a vid on that too :P hahas. watched Alice in Wonderland on the plane, and slept throughout the rest of the journey. reached Singapore at about 10+pm, then took taxi back with Bern and Yi Tian. (: I managed to put creamer and butter packets into Yi Tian's plastic bag hahaha. and he only realised it at home ><

I'm going Malaysia next week for church camp. and maybe Hong Kong at the end of the year. things might change though, who knows? :P
